Learning Lions
Current mission
Learning Lions provides ICT, design and business training and job creation through digital empowerment to marginalized youth in rural Turkana (Northern Kenya), enabling them to become creative professionals in the digital economy, following an innovative and wholistic approach of education.
The goal of Learning Lions is to reduce the high unemployment rate in impoverished rural areas of Eastern Africa and enable talented and motivated young adults to work and live a better life full of perspective in their region of origin. The skills taught by Learning Lions in combination with the possibility to market them online (through our partner Startup Lions), perfectly respond to a growing demand for simple ICT and Media tasks for the regional and international markets and the growing awareness of (corporate) social responsibility.
Since 2015, Learning Lions has trained more than 1.000 youth in basic and advanced ICT skills, among them refugees from Kakuma refugee camp and a steadily increasing number of female participants. Through our new dedicated ICT campus with an initial capacity of 200 people and through a redesigned course system, we are now ready to scale up this program to reach even more underprivileged youth in Turkana.

Current mission
Iféa's pilot school opened its doors in September 2020, and today the iféa private bilingual group’s “Emilie du Châtelet” school welcomes over 150 pupils aged from 6 to 15 years.
Whether it be at primary or secondary school, iféa promotes pupil well-being, whilst maintaining extremely high standards. All of its year 10 pupils achieved their National Certificate with Distinction. The pupils are entirely looked after here, so that “homework” is completed at the establishment itself, with the help of qualified adults who supervise and offer assistance if needed. Finally, Citizenship and Global vision are of paramount pedagogical importance in the establishment.

Current mission
Fundacion También is a non-profit organization whose aim is the social integration of people with any physical, mental, intellectual or sensory disability, by means of tailoring sport to disabled people's needs, using it as a social integration tool. Implementing a system like this provides enjoyment and many important physical and mental benefits.
This pioneering project for adapting sport to disabled people’s needs was born in 2001, when Teresa Silva (founder and managing director of También Foundation), had a paragliding accident and, as a consequence, has used a wheelchair ever since. It was then when she realized the difficulties faced by disabled people in filling up their spare time with leisure activities.
