Current mission

The Hans Hinterreiter foundation supports the artistic legacy of Hans Hinterreiter. Hinterreiter, who spent most of his life in Ibiza, created an extensive and unique body of work that focuses on geometric shapes and is strongly influenced by music and colour theory. His paintings convey a sense of dynamic movement.
The foundation promotes the dissemination and transmission of his ideas in Switzerland and abroad. To fulfil this purpose, the foundation conducts exhibitions, donates or lends works to museums and galleries, publishes/sells books and catalogues on the work of Hans Hinterreiter.
The foundation supports artists and scientists who pursue the ideas of Hans Hinterreiter.
The foundation also collaborates with other organisations with similar goals in Switzerland and abroad.
